I know I know....

.....I'm such a liar! I said no more posts, but then stumbled across these pics. I really am out of pictures now, so this may just be it. If you miss my posts already and want more...then feel free to buy me a camera! =) Good Day...over and out!

Our little Princess is Growing Up!

Our little Anastyn Marie is almost 9 months old!! She will be officially on the 23rd! But I thought I would get a head start since I have kinda stunk at keeping up with her stats. However since I am ahead of the game, I dont have any physical stats on her til her check up next week.

These pictures are HORRIBLE, but since we have no camera...these were taken by my phone. And as you can tell, my phone isnt all that great. Anywho, Anastyn is definately making her way around the house. This is her favorite corner to play in...
And she plays with everything as you can tell. She especially LOVES the leapfrog table she is on top of, and the little yellow piano. Oh, and Porter's cars and motorcycles. He doesnt appreciate her interest in his toys, and is sure to let her know that they do NOT belong in her mouth...aparently he is the only one allowed to chew on them! Since she crawls EVERYWHERE, she can now find me when I try and "hide" to get things done. So much for my corner of the couch...she now crawls right over and whines til I pick her up. haha. She is seriously such a sweetheart though and knows just how to melt our hearts. Especially Daddy's!! Little Miss Thang, also has a total of 4 1/2 teeth!! Thats right, she got her top teeth! I have also come to realize that I now officially have a "Normal" infant. She has been up MANY times at night screaming in pain, and will be totally fine playing on the floor, to blood curdling screams in about 1.2 seconds! I never really dealt with teething with Porter. Yes he has teeth, but even though he broke all his teeth by the age of 1, we never would know it. He would just smile one day and we would be like "Well lookie there, another tooth!!" Never cried, whined, or woke up at night. Well, people...I am no longer spoiled with my children because this little princess has given us a run for our money! I can NOT wait til she is done teething. But despite the clinging screaming moments, she really is a happy and content baby. When she feels good she will just play with her toys on the floor and explore after her big brother!
A few other fun things she in into at the moment, she loves to sing the patty cake song, play peek a boo (where she will all of a sudden go limp and put her face in my chest, and then pop up with this face of surprise), and loves to be upside down. Wierd I know, but she laughs everytime. Laughs and smiles are a lot harder to get out of this little one then any other kid I know...(maybe a little less then my niece Jadie! =) But thats the only person I can compare her too) She is really dry and when she doesnt want to laugh, and you try to make her...she will look at you like you are an idiot. Not kidding. She raises one eyebrow and no lie, even does a little eye roll thing as if to say "Oh please!" She has her own personality in spades!! She also goes from as happy as can be, to really mad in the bat of an eyelash! And without warning too. Its hilarious, and Kameron and I laugh when she has her dramatic moments. She has also started to say "Da-Da-Da-Da" which is SO cute, and I use as an excuse that she wants Kameron and not me! haha. She loves her daddy, but I have to say is a little more of a Momma's girl, and I LOVE it!
Little girls are definately different then little boys, but we sure love having one of each!! They keep us laughing, and on our toes. I cant believe that in a few short months, I will have a 3 year old and a 1 year old!! I hate that my babies are growing up, but love to see how they grow and change. I swear I have the cutest kids ever, and I wish that I could just freeze time and keep them little forever!!

Pioneer Children...

Okay so this picture is for all you crazy Mountain people...and when I say Mountain people, I am refering to the St Johns, Round Valley, White Mountain people, who celebrate the 24th of July, and not just celebrate it, but REALLY celebrate it with all the festival festivities!! This picture is of me and my sister Amy (I am on the left), when we were growing up and in the prime of us "Celebrating" Pioneer Days! We dressed up like Pioneers, grabbed our baby dolls, pretty much walked a couple laps around the church parking lot, pulling radio flyers, and singin "Pioneer Children Sang as They walked....and walked...and walked...and walked....aaaaaaannnddd waaalked!" haha. (you like my musical talents there didnt you?!!) And when we were done singing and walking, we would have some Hi-C punch and maybe a cookie or two. Then we went home and that was about it. I NEVER knew that this day was such a big deal until I met Kameron!!
When we first met, he invited me to come with him to St Johns for the Pioneer Days Celebration (after like a week of knowing eachother, i know right...I cant believe I went either!!). I didnt even realize what he was inviting me to, but I went. And had SO MUCH FUN! He laughed when I told him what we used to do, and couldnt believe that this town pretty much stopped all business to have Steak Fry's, Parades, Rodeo's, Dances, Campfire Cirlces, Ice Cream socials, and MUCH much more! I thought it was such a great tradition, and I am happy to have my children grow up with this because I wasnt able to. Now every 24th of July, there is never a question, we pack up and head up north for the weekend. This is also the weekend that Kameron and I pretty much fell in love, I know...pitter patter...I am just happy now that Kameron has seen proof that his little "City Slicker" wife grew up with a little Pioneer in her! =) And you have to admit, the homemade bonet and skirt are freakin stylish! I was a trend setter early in life! So here's to many more Pioneer Days in our future! Maybe this year, I'll bust out the sewing machine and wear some Pioneer get-up to make it all the more realistic...or maybe not...

Goodbye for Now...

We do not have a working camera. We used to have two, but in the last two months, both went down the crapper. I'm bummed because Anastyn got her top teeth, and is getting more...Porter is doing some really funny things lately, and well...I am having serious withdrawls when I run to grab a camera when Porter pours himself a bowl of cereal all over the floor, or when Anastyn pulls herself up by the couch...and NOTHING!! Hopefully we'll be able to get a new camera soon enough. But until then...no more blogs on the Lee front!

Potty Training...

WARNING: May be slightly graphic for some viewers!!
Porter does NOT want to potty train. I've been letting him take his time, but am really getting impatient with it. I want him out of diapers NOW!! I hate having two kids in diapers...especially a child that eats everything that Kameron and I do...Nough Said!!

Porterisms!!

Porter says funny things ALL the time, but today he is really on one. He has been crackin' us up all day!! So before I forget all the funny things he says, here are just a few:

**Porter fell and hurt his head. When I was holding him and he was telling me where it hurt, he said "Mommy, I need juice sippy cup, it make me feel better!" ----could he milk it any more??

**When I opened the fridge to get the apple juice he says "Mmmm, I smell Ice Cream in there!!!"

**Kameron was pretend "yelling" at Anastyn telling her to eat her food and Porter says "NO DADDY! NO YELL BABY SISTER!!! Thats not nice. Say sorry to Baby Sister!"

**When Porter wants a snack after naptime, we'll open the pantry and he'll stand there and say "I liiiiike, I liiiiike, uuuuummm, I liiiike..." and this will go on for a while until he decides what he wants.

**While playing the Wii, Kameron kept saying "I suck!" and unfortunately, it rubbed off on Porter because he came to me and said "Mommy, I wanna suck too!" He thought sucking = playing!!

Now even though these are just a FEW of the funny things he has said lately, there are MANY many more that I am sure I am leaving out. We love this little boy, and he is just the funniest thing ever, and he will have quite the personality when he gets older!!

I Loves me some New Furniture!!

On Christmas Day, while preparing for Christmas dinner, Kameron and our neighbor Tim was opening up our old table to add the leaf...when their muscles got the best of the table. haha. It really was an old table and I think we were it's 3rd home. It served us good for 5 years, but it gave us the opportunity to get a new one. Yeah!!
Isnt she a beaut?! Kameron was so thrilled because he hated...I mean HATED the old table, he said it was an eye sore compared to the rest of our furniture. Welcome baby black to the Lee home!!

A couple weeks ago I was on the hunt for a dresser for Anastyn's room, and a lovely girl in my ward said she had a twin bedroom set she no longer wanted. So as sweet as she was she said the fee for it was to just get it OUT! So big thanks to Todd, he let us borrow him and his truck to pick them up!! It took two days, and $45 worth of supplies, and we gave this little bedroom set a face lift!! And I cant even tell you how much I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE how it turned out!! Here's the before and after shots:
Before -(the picture she sent me to see if I wanted them) I totally forgot to take my own befores.

After!! Dont you seriously want to gaze into that mirror while saying "Mirror Mirror, on the wall?"

I worked my magic and did a little distressing!! Thats right, I used an ELECTRIC sander! Feel free to be impressed, I know I was pretty dang proud of myself!

The before nightstand...

The after, is this not the perfect little girl's bedroom set?!!!

Before headboard...

After. Now I just need the box spring and matress and we have ourselves a brand new (to us) bedroom set. Thank Paula for the furniture, you rock!! And big thanks to my sweetie who with the most positive attitude helped me take on this project full force!!! (insert sarcasm here!) Seriously though, he is such a good sport to help me with my crazy ideas. Anywho...Yeah for new furniture!!!!!

Christmas Day 2009

We had the best Christmas!! I'm not gonna lie, I wasnt really looking forward to the holidays much this year because I knew that both Thanksgiving and Christmas fell on Kameron's work days. Thanksgiving we didnt get any time off, but Kam's sergant was nice enough to let the squad be home, but on call on Christmas Day, which meant we HAD to be home the entire day. So as long as all was quiet in Maricopa...Kameron wouldnt miss Christmas! My family was great, and they all came to our house so we could spend the holiday together. My brother Jared and his family came from Tucson, my sister Amy and her family came from Queen Creek, and my parents came up too! Lucky us, it was a really quiet day, and Kameron was able to be home the entire time.
Porter was VERY excited when he woke up to his "motorcycle dirtbike"!! He didnt want to ride it right away...I think he was in shock from all the presents that Santa actually delivered this year. Since he wouldnt put on the helmet himself, he put it on Tata instead!!

And of course I had to get a picture. He loves his Tata!!

Porter opening his stocking full of goodies....

And this is a prime example of Porter....organizing all of his stuff in seperate piles!! I guess mommy and daddy's OCD is rubbing off.

Porter helping Anastyn open up her present from Grandma Lee. A babydoll!! I have learned that with a girl, I think we will have a lot of dolls laying around!! She got 3 this Christmas!!

She was so tired because we woke her up to join the fun, cant you tell how thrilled she was!!!

Porter finally got on his bike!! And he hasnt gotten off since!!

Kameron got a curl bar, and dumbell bars!! Seriously, who asks for excersice equipment for Christmas?? Not me! But I am so glad that I was able to surprise him with this VERY VERY heavy gift! Me hiding these bad boys...now thats a story in itself!! Ask me about it..its pretty funny!!

Me trying my new pea coat on Anastyn!! I love it, thanks babe!!!

Porter playing his new Vtech game system. Its a learning video game, and this one is Aladdin, he loves it.
While the girls were cooking in the kitchen, the kids were playing soccer and riding scooters in the street, the men watched sports and did a little of this......

My dad and brother crack me up!! I guess Nana passed down this lovely gene!!

Anastyn and Brylin fighting over a binkie!!!

Kameron taking Porter's present for a joy ride....back off ladies, he belongs to ME!! hahaha

Every year we get all the kids together for a picture, and here are all 10 grandkids mostly in their jammies wearing the new beanies that Grammy made them all!! Then I took a pole of who thinks that Aunt Gina is the coolest person around......

Thats right!! They love me! Okay, so I really didnt ask me that, but I really am the favorite!! =)

And whats the Gonzalez family without a goofy faced picture!!! I laughed for about 10 minutes looking at this picture. Check out my dad...and I meant for the kids to make a face!! I guess he is still a kid at heart!!
I am so grateful for my family for making sacrifices and coming to our house so we could see everyone. Its so hard with shift work, and holidays are going to be pretty tricky, but with my dad being a fire fighter my whole life, and my brother now working as a fire fighter, shiftwork isnt all the foreign to us. I am just grateful that once again we were able to spend a holiday with everyone!! We love you guys, and hope you guys have a VERY Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve 2009

Christmas Eve this year was spent in Queen Creek at my sister's house. Before we left, I wanted to get pictures of the kids together in front of the tree....
Anastyn as happy as can be, as usual!! Then I ask Porter to sit by his sister for a picture...

This is as close as he would get!! I had to bribe him with fruit snacks to get this....

So adorable!! He really does love her, she is just a little grabby at this stage, and well Porter..... doesnt like to be grabbed. haha. Maybe in another 6 months!!

That night the kids got to open up their Christmas ornament from Grammy....
Anastyn just kind of played with the box for a while!! ---Sidenote: is this not the cutest outfit EVER!!! I loved how festive it was, and Kameron just kept calling her an elf! Whatever, he was just mad he wouldnt be able to pull of those sweet green and white tights!!

Anastyn and Brylin eating their angel ornaments. They are only 6 weeks apart, and I cant wait til they get a little older, they will have so much fun!!
Those are the only pictures I took, lame...I know. But we also did an elephant exchange and ate our traditional Tamales, beans, rice, and lots of chips with salsa and guacamole!! We enjoyed ourselves, and got home just in time to put out some cookies for Santa!! Thank you Rex for finishing off those beautiful half eaten cookies...O'well, maybe next year we will make sure to put them a little higher!!!

Temple Lights

The week before Christmas Kameron and I met up with his cousin and wife, Darren and Alyne Brower and their kids for dinner and Temple lights. We ate at Texas Roadhouse, and laughed...a LOT, then headed to the temple!!
Porter and Mommy enjoying the lights!! I love this kid!!

I told him to give Daddy a kiss, and he did it with meaning!! It was really funny.

Of course we had the get the family shot!!

Anastyn enjoyed the lights so much it put her to sleep!!

Porter and Courtney, Alexa wanted no part in the pictures!! Neither did Alyne...like mother like daughter I guess!! haha (I can say that because Alyne stinks and checking blogs....thats right Alyne...I said it!!=)

Darren was eating up Anastyn, and well...this is the look he got from her the entire time he held her. What a goofy little girl we have!

Courtney wanted to hold Anastyn!! How adorable are they??
We ended the evening hanging out at their house and just catching up!! Even though we got home at almost midnight, it was totally worth it!! Thanks Brower family for spending the evening with us!! Maybe we'll have to make that a yearly tradition!
