2 Yr Old + Field of MUDD = HEAVEN!!

I have the cutest kid EVER!!!

Yesterday our Stake had its Annual Mudd Football event, and even though it started at 3 and Kameron worked til 5, we still went and enjoyed the mudd by ourselves! Because we went so late we were pretty much by ourselves, which actually turned out to be really nice. We left the car running 5 feet away from us with the baby safely (and cooly) in her carseat. And I didnt have to worry about getting splattered with mud while taking pictures! Porter wasnt sure about it at first, but when he realized he could throw it and splash...he was ALL over it. I took a million pictures, so here are what I could narrow it down to. It was really hard!! I cant wait til next year so Anastyn can join in on the fun!!

Not Rice Lovers!

Porter would NEVER eat it as a baby, and obviously that hasnt changed. I think Miss Anastyn is following in her big brother's footsteps!

4 Months Young!!

My baby girl turned 4 months old on Sunday the 23rd!! I serously cannot believe that it was just a few short months ago that we welcomed her into our little family...adding one more piece to make our family one more step to being complete. We had so much anticipation for her, and she has been so much fun since she has arrived. Despite being more than 4 weeks early, she has grown and developed non-stop. At her 4 month check here were her stats!!

Height:25 inches putting her in the 75th percentile.

Weight: 13lbs 1oz putting her in the 50th percentile.

Head Cir: 15 1/4 putting her in the 10th percentile. (both of my kids have "petite" AKA pinheads! haha, not that I will complain about that)

She is growing so fast and the doctor said she looks great!! And these marks are on the average baby charts, so she is bigger than most "on time" babies! No premie charts for us!! I was worried at first that her being so early that she would be a sickly child, but she has been healthy as a horse since day one!! Way healthier than her big brother ever was. Anastyn rolls ALL the time. Its actually kind of annoying because she will roll onto her stomach...then get really ticked and start crying. haha. So I have to roll her back over..just for her to do that over and over again. Anastyn Marie, you are the sweetest and most beautiful girl in the world! Even if you can have so much sass and drama, we love that too!! Keep growing big and strong.

Anastyn LOVES:
~Her bottles!!
~Her big Brother!!
~Her MOMMY! So a momma's girl and I love it.
~Her Daddy.
~Car rides.
~Sitting in her stroller.
~Sitting in her Bumbo.
~Sitting in the jumparoo...
~Basically sitting so she can see whats going on.
~Taking naps!!
~When you talk to her she gets really excited/shy and will duck her head and put her hands to her mouth. SO adorable.

Anastyn DISLIKES:
~Loud abrupt noises.
~Taking a bath (I know!!)
~Getting woken up.
~When she rolls onto her tummy and cant roll BACK to her back.
~When her headbands fall onto her face in the car...she SCREAMS SO LOUD!

I got this picture of the kids and thought it was just too precious. You can just see in Anastyn's face how much she loves her big brother. His exact words before this picture were "HI Gorgeous!" (he mimicks me) But still SO CUTE!!

Porter is going to be such a great big brother. He is protective over her already. Happy 4 Month Birthday baby sister! We love you so much!!

Oh the situations of Porter!!

I apologize ahead of time for the partial nakedness of this next picture, but it was just TOO funny not to add!!
When Porter gets out of the shower, he likes to run around like a crazy person. On a side note: I always tell him NOT to climb on the back of the couch because he can get STUCK behind it. Well it hadnt happened until he was climbing in the buff!! Kameron and I all of a sudden hear him whining "I STUCK....UHHHHHH....i STUUUUCK!!" And low and behold, guess who was right?! Mommy!!!

Then one day I hear Kameron call for me....and I automatically replied "What did he do?" to which Kameron responded "Its not what he DID, its what he is DOING!!" Oh boy, I guess reorganizing his room, and putting all the books off his dresser in the bookshelf in the closet wasnt such a great idea.

I am now on the hunt to find something for his dresser so he WONT be climbing on it anymore!!

There are a lot of times when Porter isnt getting into things. I was able to catch Porter in one of these moments the other day......Are you ready for it?? Okay, here it is....

Hahaha. He fell asleep watching his MONSTER truck video! Look at how peaceful he is. But no really, he does have his sweet moments when he is AWAKE too! Such as this.....

He asked to hold "Baby Sisser" and let me tell you, this is only the 3rd time since she has been alive that he has actually WANTED to hold her. SO I had to snap a shot of this sweet moment. And yes, I know what you are thinking. Anastyn looks completely terrified, but its probably because he had just tried to push her off his lap. Dont worry, I was right there making sure that didnt happen! Gosh kids can be a handful, but they are just so dang cute its worth it! I love you my babies!!!

The TERRIBLE Two's have taken flight!!

If it werent for that face...well lets just say neither of us would survive the day! I love this kid and his goofy personality, but boy are the terrible two's harder than I had thought they would be......wish me luck!!

On the Road Again!

Okay so this is NOT a picture from this last weekend...its a picture from almost a year ago...but I didnt get any pictures at all from our trip! Anyways, last weekend I went to Sierra Vista and my good friend Amber (on the left) was nice enough to come with me!! A trip alone with two kids would have been so hard without her! We went to baby showers, shopped, ate, and stayed up late talking. It was a quick, but fun trip! Thanks Amber for coming with me for the weekend and being SOOO helpful with the kids! You're a great friend. Love you girl!!

Welcome Home Elder Gonzalez!!

A couple weeks ago I was able to take a trip to Utah with my parents to see my cousin Tyson who come home from his mission! Anastyn and I took a girls trip and left the boys behind! Thanks Nicole for watching Porter for me, it made the trip much more enjoyable! I stayed with my cousin Elyssa and we had too much fun staying up late and talking. It was so fun to be able to see family, I just wish we all lived closer together! We went to dinner, shopped, hung out at my Uncle Bill's, and enjoyed the nice weather!

Andrew and Harlee being hilarious at my Uncle Bill's house!! I got a few pictures of Harlee...but they all were her making faces!! haha.

Anastyn and Ayven

Tyson (the reason for the trip), Lindsey and Andrew, Jason and Stacy at the Homecoming luncheon!

Cassie, Lindsey, and I

Little Andrew sneaking a swig of DP! I loved this little girl and her raspy voice!

Okay, so this is my Uncle Bill! I know what you are thinking, and No...he is not my direct bloodline! haha. He had these huge fake yellow teeth, that he would come running out wearing while talking really fast in a crazy accent. It was HILARIOUS and we would laugh about it for a while after. This is the 3rd day and I was able to quickly snap a shot against his will! Love you Uncle Bill!

And my adorable little Anastyn happy as can be during our 11 hour car ride! It was such a fun trip and even though I was exhausted when I got back, it was worth every minute!! Thanks Elyssa and Manny for letting us stay at your house...and Manny for being Anastyn's little buddy!! Here is the proof:

And Elyssa...I cant believe we didnt get a picture together the whole trip! =( boo!

And We're OFF....

Okay, I have a confession to make. I can tend to be a slightly paranoid over pertective mother. BIG surprise, I know. But I just love these two little blessings so much that even the thought of something terrible happening when I am away from them literally makes me sick to the stomach. As I am sure it does other mothers as well. But today I am going to Utah with my parents and am only taking Anastyn. Thats right, Porter is staying behind. A two year old AND newborn on a 12 hour car ride without Kameron's help...just didnt sound like something I wanted to do! Since Kameron is working ALL weekend, Porter will be heading to Tucson to stay with my brother and sister-in-law for 3 days. Dont get me wrong, I trust them both completely with my child, they have raised 4 children beautifully and I know they will take care of him as their own. These are the people I would want to raise my children if something were to happen to Kameron and I...but the anxiety still consumes me way too much. I know that everything will be fine, and he will have so much fun with his cousins, and with Kameron for a day before I get home. But I have NEVER been this far from him EVER! I even stayed only one night at the hospital when I had Anastyn because I didnt want to be away from him another day! Knowing that Kameron will be an hour away at the most does give me comfort, and I know that this is going to be something I need to get over eventually. I love you Porter Grant Lee and I miss you already (and I havent even left yet!). Be such a good boy for Aunt Nicole...or you'll have to answer to Uncle Jared!! Be a good listener, a big eater, share, sleep through the night, and do NOT break anything. (that incluses toys, glass, and bones!) I'll be home soon, and if you are a good boy, Mommy will bring you a surprise!! =)

Okay, I feel better for now...we'll see how I do when I ACTUALLY have to say goodbye to the little booger! Wheeew...deep breath...

Nothing Melts a Momma's heart.....

...like a sight such as this, right before nap time!! Makes me feel like I am doing something right!!
Porter is such a great prayer giver that when we kneel down at night as a family...Kameron asks who's turn it is to pray and Porter will say "Porer's turn". He actually does a great job, and will even pray for his cars every once in a while too. We sure love you Porter Grant Lee!!

BumNO, not BumBO!

We thought we would give it a spin....Not so bad!!

head is getting a little heavy...but still ok.

It was when the realization that she has NO headcontrol set in that this resulted---

Complete............................

...and TOTAL meltdown! What a mean Momma I am to sit there, laugh and take pictures. A'well, she'll thank me when she's older. However, these are the first pictures I have been able to get that actually capture a tiny bit of her attitude....this girl has it in spades. We love you Baby Sister!!
