Blast from the Past...

I stole this from my friend Marlee's blog. If you dont know me and Marlee...then this probably will mean nothing to you, but if you are lucky enough to know us great girls then take a load of this....
This is a picture of our beautiful girls, Maddie and Anastyn, together at the park. But is this SOOO Marlee and I about 24 years ago? I laughed so hard looking at this. Marlee and I have been friends our entire lives. I am sure there are pictures of us together at this age somewhere to compare, but I dont have them. Marlee...do you?!

Anyhow, I love that I have a girl that I am finally starting to hear looks like ME! And I love that one of my life long friends has a girl who looks just like her. Because now we get to see ourselves grow up together once again! Hopefully they dont act like us though...or we just might have our work cut out for us! Love you Waddie pants!

Birthday Easter Bash!!

My sweet Anastyn Marie turned TWO years old this past weekend. I cant believe that my baby is no longer a baby! She has gotten so big, talks in full sentences, throws tantrums, but loves to cuddle, play with her dolls, and is the best Mommy to "Baby Pincess Rora". (baby Aurora from sleeping beauty) So to celebrate her birthday we got something for her that I KNEW she would love and play with non stop! And here is her face of disbelief....

And can I just put a plug in for my husband's amazing style and trend setting?! Thats right...athletic shorts with white socks and camo slippers!!

Moving along...this is Anastyn's new love...
The cutest kitchen on earth. She has been playing with it non stop!!

....And so has Porter! He loves it just as much as she does.

This one is ALL girl. Can you see the happiness in her face when getting a new pair of shoes from Grammy!!

We spent the rest of the day hanging out with my family eating a yummy Easter Feast, and for dessert I made Anastyn a Bunny Birthday Cupcake cake.


We found candles in the drawer that we slapped on the cake....without realizing they were TRICK candles. So here she is losing all her breath blowing them out over...and over...and over..and well I think you get the idea..again!

She was hilarious, while crying I asked her to smile for the camera, and this is what I got!!

Then the next morning we opened Easter baskets with her cousins. Porter and Anastyn both loved having their cousins here to play for her birthday and Easter. It really makes me sad thinking about how both of my babies are growing so fast...its not fair really. Most people get a few months between the depression of a child getting older...while I have to suffer through a whole week of depression because their birthdays are right next to each other. I love this little girl, she is so fun, sassy, full of life, AND attitude that I know our family wouldnt be the same without her around. I love you Anastyn Marie Stinkie Lee! Happy Birthday!!

Daddy Needs to Keep his Day Job!

Even though its clear that hair is NOT in his category of talents and that he should most definitely keep his day job, I say he gets an "A+" for even trying!!

Soaking in Every Moment!

I cant believe that my baby boy is FOUR years old! It seems like just yesterday he was born, and while wallowing in the depression that he is growing up, I was going thru old pictures and well...shedding a tear or two, and remembering what a wonderful little boy he is!

The night before his birthday I was literally crying telling Kameron that I am so sad that he was going to be FOUR, and how much I miss his cute little personality when he was a baby. It hit me that I wont ever get to play with that particular baby again. He was one of a kind, and it makes me sad and wish I had soaked up more of that sweet chubby baby!! Its so bitter sweet to see him grow up, I wish I could freeze them and never let them grow, protect them from the world, and love them little forever. I know that thats impossible, but a mother could wish cant she?! I am so proud of the little boy Porter has become. He is the best big brother, always watching after Anastyn, and just loves her so much. He has developed great habits of reading the scriptures and saying prayers every night before bed. He NEVER lets me forget, he is such an example to me!! Porter is so smart, determined, and as sweet as can me. There is no greater blessing on this earth, then to call him my Son! I am proud of you Porter, you are loved and admired more then your little mind can even imagine. Happy Birthday Monster!

Porter had his first T-ball game a couple weeks ago, and boy was it HYSTERICAL! I think a better term for it, is Tackle T-ball!

I am loving going to games and watching Porter play, and throw rocks, and his glove, and get tackled for the ball, and chase butterflies, and pick grass, and just be a kid. I cant believe that I am already to this stage with him, but I am sure loving being a T-ball Mom!
