We're having ourselves,
A New baby Lee.
A little Brother or Sister,
With whom Porter can play.
We're expecting this baby,
The 22nd of May!
(These are Porter Grant Lee's feet at 1 week old!)
...All because Two people fell in Love
Porter LOVES football, so he really loved playing...and doesnt he look like such a little football player in this picture??
Being the silly little boy he is!!
Ryken and Porter have so much fun playing together.
Go Ryken....GO!!! Anyways, moving along...Kameron and I had hours and lots of gas wasted by stupid Bell Honda (I wont even get into it, it makes me too mad!!) so we made some calls and headed over to San Tan Honda off Gilbert & the 202. Where we had a fabulous, and hilarious, car salesman and we were able to find a great deal on a car that exceeded my expectations. It had a lot more accessories and perks that I had anticipated, so I am so excited to say the least. If anyone is in the market for a Honda or a new car in general...let me know and I will put in contact with this guy, he wsa GREAT!! Anywho, here is the new addition to the Lee home.

Isnt she a beaut? haha. I know I am bias, but I do love my Honda's!!
Anyways, the next day we had to take her back into the dealership to get a tire repaired...and they couldnt repair it so that meant we got TWO brand new tires, for free. YEAH!! So while they did the repairs my sister met us at the dealership and we ran some errands and went out to lunch.
Javian being a goofball at lunch!!
Brooklynn wasnt feeling very well and was very quiet...not the usual Brooklynn!!
Porter kept biting the lemon...making this face...and repeating. What a crack up!!
And here we were at Sams Club earlier that day when Porter & Daddy shared some pizza...yes they had TWO lunches that day!! I on the other hand, only had one!!
Here are just some cute random pictures from this sunday...Porter looked way to cute to not take pictures!!
My big boy all ready to go to Nursery!!
Porter and Daddy! What handsome men I have in my life!
Porter & Mommy!!
Anything Porter finds around the house always ends up on his head...and when it wont fit on his head...it goes to the next best thing....HIS FEET!! Kind of unsanitary...but whatever, I've never been a germaphobe (sp) and he looked so cute!!
And last but not least, monday evening we met up with Kameron's family for a Farewell dinner for Elder Karston Lee. We met up and Chili's so Kameron and I could say our goodbyes before he leaves for Brasil! We were sad we didnt get to spend much time with him last weekend and just a couple hours at dinner, but he will be home in two years, and I am sure we will be able to see him lots then! Here are some pictures we took after Dinner.
Porter completely proud of himself after he poured a cup of ice water on himself!!
The Sao Paulo East, Brasil missionaries...past and future!!!
Porter being thrown in the air for the last time in two years by Uncle Karston!
1. Did you date someone from your school? I dated a lot of guys back in the day. But never for very long! I got bored easily.
2. What kind of car did you drive? Silvia...my 94 Honda Accord!! This is the only car I actually cried when I got rid of it!
3. Were you a party animal? No. But we did have a lot of fun doing other crazy things like Mullet hunting and drive throughs. Dont ask...you dont want to know.
4. Were you considered a flirt? Probably.
5. Were you in band, orchestra or choir? I played band first semester of my freshman year but quit because the band room was like below zero degrees that I couldnt feel my fingers, and the fat band teacher was always sweating all over the front row...which was flutes. Food for thought...I played flute!! Nothing more needs to be said!
6. What was your most embarrassing moment in high school? Me and Marlee were just talking about this the other night! I ran track and when I was a sophmore I had to run first heat in a big regional meet because the top 300 meter hurdler was not there...and well I was doing great and in second place, on pace for qualifying for state....before I caught my trail foot on the hurdle (that weighed more than me) and I ate dirt, or rubber, right in front of the stands. When you hear the stands cheer...then go..."OWWW" never a good thing! I still finished with a PR for that season, even with a fall on the face and getting up again...I guess I matched whoever I was running against.
7. Were you a nerd? No. I played lots and lots of sports...do nerds play sports?
8. Were you on varsity teams? Basketball, Volleyball, and Track.
9. Did you ever get suspended/expelled? No way. My principal loved me and my dad worked there too, so if I was late I would make a trip by his office for a pass, and for him to get me snacks out of the vending machines in the teacher's lounge...and if he wasnt around I would have Mark or Carlos the security guards get me some. And they told me to hide under the table so the female security guards (which were NOT ever cool) wouldnt see me when they walked through the cafeteria. haha. They were the coolest, I never got caught in Tardy sweep...even though I should have....MULTIPLE times.
10. Can you still sing the fight song? ....ha...Did I ever even know the fight song?? Nope!
11. Who were your favorite teachers? The Mansours!! My senior year I had a bunch of empty classes so I filled them with elective classes such as Fashion & After the Tassel. Both taught by Mrs. Mansour, and then I had her husband for English. So half my day was spent with this couple! I loved them, and vice versa. They came to my wedding!
12. What was your school's full name? Buena High School
13. School mascot? Colt
14. Did you go to the Homecoming dance and with who? Junior year I went with Gregory Mitchell, he was just a friend, but always a hoot! And Senior year I went with David Partington, was dating him at the time.
15. If you could go back again, would you? Heck no. There were some fun times, but I like where I am now way better than in High School. I remember thinking in HS that this was the best time of my life and how could life go on after, and that I was going to remember EVERYONE...and now, I can hardly remember anyone, and it really wasnt very important at all. haha.
16. What do you remember most about graduation? it rained and all the staff was out wiping off all 600 grad chairs so we didnt get our gowns wet, and then a bunch of girls slipped on the wet ramp because they were wearing high heals....hilarious!!! (no I didnt fall, I walked very slowly) And getting sick at Grad night and I went home early!
17. Where did you go senior skip day? I dont even remember. I think Holly and I went to Taco Bell and then hung out at my house.
18. Were you in a club? Nope.
19. Have you gained some weight since then? Actually I have lost weight. I was solid muscle then...not so much now.
20. Who was your prom date? Nolan my junior year, and Nate my senior year...I was dating both at the time....told you I dated a lot in HS.
21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Probably.
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? The people that think they are all that now, will realize they are no one when they graduate and get into the real world. And to not care what people think...they dont matter in the long run anyway and they are still living with mommy and daddy still doing what they did in High School!

I just got done reading this book, which is the second book within this particular series. Throughout the book I enjoyed it, it entertained me for the most part. My nose wasnt in it every second, but it was interesting enough to keep me going. But by the time I finished it, I was so grateful I read it and in the end turned out LOVING it. Before you run off and read it, and end up not liking it as much as I did, let me explain why this book had great meaning to me!
This morning Kameron didnt have to be to work until 12, so we ran some errands before I was left with no car. We went to the grocery store, dry cleaners, and stopped off at the QT for a treat...and thats when we discovered our little Freezoni Monster! Kameron of course wanted to get Porter his own cup of RED Freezoni, and it was so cute watching him walk through QT with his jammies and slippers carrying his own treat SO proudly! He wouldnt let us take it away from him even when we buckled him in the car. This is what he looked like the entire trip home! Then he sat still in his booster chair at home to finish it. Mean Mommy didnt want red spots on the carpet! Porter is now officially a fan of QT and more so the Freezoni's!!
This is our little family Sunday after Karston (Kameron's little brother) gave his farewell talk! We made the trip to St Johns to hang out with the family for one last time before Karston leaves for Brasil! We had lots of fun and kept busy for most of the weekend! Here is a little of what we did.
Porter ran around the yard chasing chickens and riding the pig, while I went with my mother-in-law to can some food storage and then we went to watch Kyler's soccer game. (which I didnt get any pictures of because we were too busy trying to keep Porter from being St Johns' newest teamate!)
Porter and Dad enjoyed riding the dirt bike, anything with a motor this kid LOVES!!
Uncle Kyran kept Porter busy pushing him in circles in the side door...through the house...out the front door...around the front of the house...and back in the side door, over and over again. Porter loved it and I did too, because that meant I got to relax and help in the kitchen without Porter pulling at my legs!!
I found these cute little football slippers at the dollar store, and since thats his favorite sport I decided...why not!! His poor little tootsies would get so cold in the mornings and at night and he loved wearing them. I dont think he has taken them off since!!
Then Sunday morning Uncle Karston was giving Free Blanket Rides around the house and Porter and Kyran both loved it.
And of course the minute we get there his fever breaks and is acting completely normal. $10 bucks down the drain. But I'd rather be safe then sorry. Since he was feeling okay we met up with our friends Justin and Cara for dinner and then went to Chandler Mall to walk around and look at the sales in all the kids stores.
Here is Porter and Ryken playing...and well I sent Kameron to get a picture and this is what he came back with. So all you can see is the back of Ryken's head! haha. We shared an after dinner snack and then found some really cute sweatshirts for the boys at Children's place and decided to call it a night.
The next day we had to take the car in to get the tires rotated, so we ran lots of errands. Here is Porter on the car ride in...

Seriously...my kid is a stud! But please take notice to his lovely HIGH water jeans. It was a little chili out so we put his jeans on...which fit him a week ago..and they are now over an inch TOO SHORT! He just doesnt stop growing. But I guess thats my fault...I keep feeding him. So we found some jeans on sale at the Mervyns close out sale. And we got some shirts that were like .99 cents to 1.99 a piece at Old Navy!
Here is Porter ready to go in his new clothes. He was so funny at Mervyns, Kameron and I were playing dressing room with him in the middle of the store trying to decide which size to get him, so we changed his pants like a million times, and he thought it was so funny. He loved putting new things on and running around in them. So he was really excited when I let him pick out his own shirt to wear. It was a little big still so I changed his shirt before we went to Founder's Day at the park down the street.
Here is an unflattering picture of Porter eating his dum dum and holding onto his balloon for dear life because it was SOO windy! I was amazed at how many people were there and how much the city of Maricopa puts into this event every year! There is always something fun going on at Pacana park every weekend, but this was outrageous. Kameron and I werent able to make it back in time to see Lifehouse perform...which I really wanted to go to...but it was still fun to walk around and let Porter be entertained by all the people and activities going on. I love living in a place where there is such town unity. Okay that totally sounded cheesy, but Maricopa is really a great place to live, and everyone is so nice. Then later that night we heard popping from all the fireworks after the concert so we went outside and was able to watch them from our own backyard.
The little lights in the sky were the fireworks...haha. I couldnt get a very good picture, but Porter loved them.
And this picture was actually from last week when Kameron gave Porter an oreo cookie. He looks like a hobo child with missing teeth. haha. But definately cute enough to be blog worthy!! That was our weekend...pretty not exciting, but we're boring people, so what do you expect!!
Yeah I know...James Marsden is way out of the age limit but I'm not seventeen or a craddle robber...so Edward does NOT look 17 to me! In my happy world...this is my Edward!!
