Well I finally decided to update my blog...thanks to an unexpected phone call from my weirdo sister and sister-in-law who were "busy" at work! Thanks Amy and Giselle, and dont work too hard. Here it goes...
Porter was sick and fussy the whole week before Christmas. I also had the mother of all colds, so getting anything done was out of the question. But after Porter finally broke through his two front teeth, he was in MUCH better spirits. It put a whole new meaning to the song "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" We spent Christmas Eve at my Aunt Kellye's house eating yummy food and enjoying family's company. Then Kameron and I turned in for an early night because Porter and I both werent feeling that well, and were very tired. Christmas morning we drove out to Queen Creek to watch my niece and nephew open their gifts, then came back home and Kameron and I opened ours. Later that afternoon my brother from Tucson and his family drove up and my sister and her family came over from Queen Creek. We spent the afternoon opening gifts and eating a lot of junk. While the kids ran wild we got ready for Christmas dinner and watched the Suns play. Whats Christmas without the guys in front of a game on TV?! It was so fun to have everyone over at my house for Christmas dinner...although the dishes were not all that fun. But it was definately worth not having to pack my bags and drive hours. Porter never got off his schedule, and still took relatively good naps, which never happens when we are out of town. Here is a slide show of all the pictures from Christmas!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Have a Happy New Year!!

Binkie Snatcher.....
If I had a nickel for every time I lost Porter's binkie, I think I would be a millionaire. Or atleast thats how it seems. I was down to one binkie yesterday when I was watching the kids I nanny for. Well somewhere between leaving there and arriving at my aunts house (it was a non stop trip mind you) I lost the last one!! He really isnt that attached to it, but when he is sick thats one of the only things to keep him from crying. So it was NOT fun to say the least when it came to nap time. After we left my Aunts house, we had to stop at Target to finish up my Christmas shopping and he was being the BIGGEST pill. So I went directly to the baby section, took a package of binkies off the rackm opened it, and gave him one. What else was I supposed to do....I needed to finish my shopping with atleast one shred of sanity! Plus, I really doubt that I am the first mom to pay for an already used binkie...or a half eaten box of something or other. I know my mom did it with me growing up. Well anyways, we finally get home and Porter is rolling around on the floor with his brand new binkie while I was cleaning up the Kitchen. When I take a second look at him literally ONE minute later the binkie is gone! So I went over to look for it to give it back to him.....and its NO WHERE to be seen. I'm no dummy...I know that binkies dont just vanish into thin air and Porter is big, but not big enough to swallow it. Or maybe I had a little Houdini on my hands!! There was only one other possibility.....REX!! Now Rex has always been kind of a horter, but he left the baby things alone for the most part (or so I thought). I went outside to check the back yard and lo and behold.....There it was.
Exhibit A:

Exhibit A:

He even has the guilty look on his face!!!! He knew he was in trouble. I have finally cracked the missing binkies case!! Which made me wonder how many other binkies are buried in the back yard?? And possible other toys that have disappeared over the past few months. I guess we will find that out when Kameron tills the back yard when we do our landscaping!! What a sneaky little dog we have. I guess thats what we get for getting Rex a doggie door. Before I know it he will have the baby in the back yard eating mud! But atleast now I know if the binkie is missing....Rex will be the most likely suspect!

Life's Short....Play Naked!!
I thought there was nothing worse than having a little boy with reflux that spits up ALL the time. Well I was wrong. Having a little boy with the worlds largest diaper rash...MUCH worse. This week I started Porter on the mixed vegetables and mixed fruits. Aparently with that on top of teething, it makes the perfect scenario for a ginormous diaper rash. My poor little baby screams murder every time I change his diaper. The upside is that he LOVES not having to wear a diaper. He rolls around and laughs and is just in a good mood without a diaper. It seems to be helping and with a couple more days of playing naked, we may be able to completely rid of this nasty monster Porter has visiting his oh so very special places!!! But in the midst of it all, he still seems to keep pretty good spirits! I am so glad we have such a happy baby, it sure makes me days much easier!!
On another note, I took these pictures earlier this week and they were just so funny. I dont have anything to say with them other than...DANG my kid is cute! haha He just has the sweetest little personality and is nothing but a goofball!!

"Big Boy" bath...
Porter has gotten way to big for his baby bathtub. So since he has been sitting up like a big boy lately, we figured it was time for his first "Big Boy" bath! I didnt think it was possible for him to like baths anymore than he already does. But I was wrong. He LOVES being able to sit up and splash his hands in the water and laugh when it hits him in the face. Porter is just growing so fast and learning and developing everyday that it makes it so much fun to watch. And I am so grateful for my hard working husband who allows me to stay home and watch his growth first hand. Thanks babe, Porter and I both love you SO much. Porter is definately a mama's boy, however, when Porter hears Kameron's voice when he gets home from work his face lights up and he gets the cutest most excited look on his face. (its a look I never get from him) I love it more than anything to watch how Porter interacts with his daddy. He just loves Kameron so much.
Splish Splash!!
My big boy all growned up! =)

Walkin in a Winter Wonderland....

So the time has come again, and incredibly too quickly, to prepare for Christmas. If you know me, you know I LOVE Christmas and decorations more than anything. Since we are in a house this year I begged Kameron and Karston to put up my Christmas lights outside. From the previous post you see how I put my inside decor up LITERALLY the second we got home from Thanksgiving, but it took until last night to get the outside of our home ready for the Holidays.
Here is my wonderful husband risking his life on the slightly unsturdy ladder so I can have a beautiful snowflake adorning the front of the house.
Here is the final product! Beautiful!!!
And here is our wonderful front door. (thanks Karsterooni Spamoonie)
Kameron and I very cold after putting lights up. (well Kameron was putting the lights up, I was holding the ladder!) haha
Our Christmas tree and Santa stocking holder.
Our entertainment center OVERFLOWING with christmas decor...I LOVE IT!!
My tiny little village...we will get more houses eventually!! Well that concludes the Lee's christmas decor. I LOVE christmas and I cant wait to spend Christmas with my family in our new home. My first Holiday host experience and I cant wait!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas season!!!
