Porter's 1st Trip to St Johns

Hello Again! I thought it was about time that we posted again. Porter will be 6 weeks old...ALREADY...in a couple days. He is growing so fast and getting more personality everyday! He rolled over and did the army scoot on his tummy for the first time at 3 weeks old, has already been smiling at us, and reaching for the hanging toys on his baby activity mat. So he seems to be ahead of the game and Kameron believes he is just like dad....A Genius! Porter is holding on to those big blue eyes still and we are hoping they dont change. But from the looks of it, I dont think they are going anywhere. He is becoming so much fun now that he is becoming aware of the things around him, including his hand which he finds very fastinating from time to time.
He had a blast this weekend playing in St Johns with his Grandma and Grandpa Lee and was well taken care of and looked after my big Uncle Kyran. Kyran enjoyed very much playing the "Stick the binkie in Porter's mouth over and over again" game all weekend. As well as help me give him a bath and was very consistant with helping me calm Porter down when he was fussy by repeating "calm down...calm down...calm down" in a singing fashion. It was way cute and hilarious to watch at times. Kyran also kept Rex busy as well as the other boys when they chased him all around the house trying to pry a little soccer ball Rex came across and claimed to be his. 4 boys from ages 5 to 18 chasing around a 5 pound dog and none of them able to catch him.... the rest of us sat back and laughed but its something we should have gotten on camera.
Well anyways, we are back home now and trying to get things back to normal, but it was a fun weekend. We are all exhausted, especially Rex after getting in quite the workout from the boys. So all in all it was a great first "St Johns" trip for little Porter.

Baby, Wife update

Well baby Porter had his 2 wk checkup. He has gained only 3 oz but has grown 1 3/4 inches. Gina also had a 2 wk follow up appt and the Dr. said that everything is looking good as well as the 27 lbs she has already lost. Not like she had much to lose anyway. Yesterday we also had a friend, who is a photographer take some pictures "Professionally" of Porter and hopefully we will be able to have those posted as well. Karston, my younger brother is graduating this month so we are heading to SJ for that. It is crazy! Well that is about it for now.
