Revenge is Sweet!!

So last week I had a birthday! I am officially OLD! We spent the day before my birthday in Tucson enjoying time with friends, and the day of we went to dinner with my parents. Kameron being the sweetheart (sense my sarcasm in the sweetheart) made a trip to Walmart before dinner and dropped off a cake at Outback before we got there, so they could come out singing to me WITH a cake. Sweet right?! NOT! I warned Kameron and my co-worker that I did NOT want anyone singing. I hate having to sing while at work, I didnt want to make anyone sing to me. I was promised it wouldnt happen. Until out comes the sheet cake with candles lit and everyone singing and clapping. I was sooo embarassed. Yes he gets credit for the thoughtfulness, but never again. I dont like attention, and this brown face...CAN turn red!

Well Kameron so easily forgets that his birthday falls just 5 days AFTER mine! I was going to get him back. But I needed to figure out how, and how to do it without him catching on. So with my parents help, we all decided to hit up Texas Roadhouse for lunch this afternoon. Its not his birthday yet, so he wasnt expecting anything quite yet. But oh how sweet revenge can be!!!

I wanted to have the camera handy for when the embarassment started, so we snapped a few pictures. I love this one of Anastyn and Tata!!


We had to take a few family shots. And then it all happened. They brought out the saddle!!!

And YEEHAW!! While he was turning red and mounting the beautiful "horse" he looked at me dying laughing and says "This is waaay worse then what I did to you!!" Thats right my dear Kameron. It is worse. Much worse. So hopefully there is a lesson learned. The messer will eventually become the messie! Happy Birthday love! =)

A whole New World!

Porter has officially entered the world of T-ball! This kid has been asking NON-stop to play some sort of organized sport since he started talking. He has sports running thru his veins. So you can imagine his excitement getting dressed in his cool uniform, cleats, and sunglasses.

Porter and his new girlfriend Riley! He found the only girl on the team, and they wouldnt stop holding hands! Its was too cute!


Seriously, I dont think my kid can get any cuter!!

Answered Prayers!

Every night for the past month or so, Porter prays every night that his friend Wes can come and play. Without fail, every night I walk out of his room sad that he misses his best friend so much! All the while 3 hours away, Wes has been praying for the same thing. Last week our friends the Peacher's were going to the Titan Missile Museum in Tucson, so we took advantage of the day out and met up with them. Porter and Wes were so excited to see eachother.
And no, we did not plan the shirts. It was just coincidence, but luckily they are at the age where its still cool to them to be wearing the same shirt as their friend!

Anastyn had fun seeing the boys as well. We enjoyed some lunch at Chili's where the kids ate free, and we all enjoyed each other's company. It was a great way to spend a day off, with good friends, good food, and seeing two little boys who's prayers were answered!!

When it snows outside!!

Right after returning home from Sunny Cabo San Lucas, we got a cold front and it SNOWED!! I love Sierra Vista because it will snow a couple times every winter, but then it will melt and be gone by noon! Perfect!! We get to play in it, love it, but dont have to live in it.

Check out this picture, the snowball Grammy threw is mid air before it got Porter. Boy did he love having a snow ball fight!!

Of course you HAVE to ride a trike in the snow!

Anastyn wasnt so sure about the snow, she doesnt like to be cold...she gets that from her Mommy!! But after Tata picked her up and took her out to see it, she was all over the place!!

And what tops off playing in the snow? Why hot chocolate to warm you up!! Both kids LOVE it, they slurped, made a mess, and laughed with each other. I am loving the ages they are at right now. They are best buds, they love playing together, fighting together, laughing together, crying together, and just being around each other. I love being the Mom of these two little rugrats!!
