5 Years into Eternity

February 10th was our 5 year Anniversary. Kameron being the sweetheart he is, booked a hotel room, and found some friends to watch the kids so he could surprise me with a little getaway. It was much needed, and completely amazing to do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted, and didnt have to be home at any particular time. It was so liberating!! haha

We started off grabbing some Taco Bell and then went and did Sealings at the Temple. It was such a great reminder of the promises we made to eachother what seems like yesterday!

Then we drove out to Old Town Scottsdale to check into our hotel. We booked it online, and we were a bit nervous because it was ALOT cheaper then some of the other places in the area. But to our great surprise when we got there, our room wasnt ready, so we got upgraded to the Suite for no additional charge! What luck!!

The comfy bed, it was all down pillows and comforter.

The Jetted tub

And the living area. There were 3 bath tubs, 2 flat screams, 2 VCR's, 2 Refrigerators, 2 microwaves, and lots and lots more. It was so nice, and we had plenty of room to spread out.
My friend Kacy finally had her sweet baby girl Parker Ainsley that morning in Scottsdale, so we were able to visit them at the hospital before we went to dinner. It was perfect timing, and she was so adorable!!

We went out to dinner at Outback, our Favorite!! And it ended up being super cheap because we had a $5 coupon, and they royally screwed up my meal, so it was FREE. Cant complain! After we walked Scottsdale Fashion Square (holy overload!! Way too overwhelming of a place for me!!) and Kameron bought me some perfume! I LOVE it, he was so sweet. Then we were off to have some dessert at a really cute place in Old Town called the "The Sugar Bowl".

We enjoyed our ice cream, made a snack/junk food run to Target and then went back to the room to relax and watch a movie!!
The next morning we grabbed breakfast, did a little window shopping, sat in the massage chairs in the mall, saw Dear John, ate lunch at Pei Wei's and then went home to our kiddos who we missed so much! It was such a great getaway, that ended too quick. Thanks to all who helped with our kids to make it possible. And to my dear sweet husband who planned it all and made it all happen. I love you babe. Happy Anniversary. Here's to many more happy years!
