Mom's 50th Extravaganza!

This last weekend we all packed up and went down to Sierra Vista for the reason that my mom thought we all just wanted to get all 8 grandkids together for pictures together at Sears. We were saying that this was my mom's birthday present. Little did she know we all had a few tricks up our sleeves.

About a month ago Kameron and I were in Sierra Vista for a friends reception, and my cute little dad came and pulled my older brother Jared and I aside and said he wanted to plan a big surprise party for my mom. We all decided what weekend and then tricked my mom unto coming up with this idea and she invited us all down there...and we all agreed (surprise surprise). It was "the girls" job to keep my mom out ALL DAY LONG, while the boys set everything up. (which I think we actually got the better end of the deal. ha-ha) So we got pictures, went to Peter Piper Pizza for Bailee's 8th birthday Gonzalez Party, (she had one with her other grandparents earlier in the week)then went to the mall to get our nails done and shop. It was really tiring trying to get my mom to do what we wanted her to. But it worked out and we had tricked her really good that nothing was going on that night because we were making reservations for dinner and plans for that night. AND we had to be home by 4:30 so Jared and his family could "leave" to make it to the UofA game back in Tucson. So we pull up to their house with a TON of cars outside and what she said was PRICELESS! "OH YOU GUYS!!! My hair is a mess and I have to pee!" ha-ha. "Well mom, you're gonna have to hold it" was my brothers response.

It turned out to be a really good party, and it was a lot of fun to see old friends and lots of family. NOT to mention, the CUTEST pictures ever taken. Thank you to my sister for cooking all the food, and dad for being so cute and thoughtful enough to make it all happen. I added a slide show above of all the pictures of my adorable nieces and nephews and my little boy. Enjoy!
